LIMESTONE MANSION POLICIES
ARRIVALS:
Check in time begins at 3:00pm. If you arrive before 3:00pm and your room is not ready, you are welcome to leave your car in our parking lot or on the street while you explore Cherry Valley.
Please call 607-264-3741 if you expect to be later than 5:00pm. When leaving a message, please leave your full name and dates of your reservation.
DEPARTURES:
Check out time is 11am.
MINIMUM STAY:
June through October and holiday weekends, a two-night minimum stay is required when a reservation includes a Saturday night.
CHILDREN:
At the Limestone Mansion, we strive to create an atmosphere of elegance and tranquility, complemented by our exquisite antique furnishings and delicate breakables. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we have established the following policy regarding children:
Age Suitability:
• While our setting is best suited for children over 12 years of age, we welcome families with children of all ages.
Accompanied Stay:
• Children must stay in the same room as an adult over the age of 25. This requirement is in place to guarantee a responsible and attentive presence, maintaining the integrity of our decor and ensuring the well-being of both children and our valued guests. We will have to charge you for any damage during your stay.
By adhering to this policy, we aim to create an enjoyable experience for all guests, balancing the welcoming nature of our inn with the preservation of our unique and carefully curated ambiance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in fostering a harmonious environment at the Limestone Mansion.
ADDITIONAL GUESTS:
Most of our rooms are priced for 2 people except for some of the double room accommodations which are priced for more than 2 people. Each additional guest over the included guests will incur a $25 charge per person, per night, per room. Some rooms cannot accommodate more than 2 people, and none of our single rooms can accommodate more than 4 people per fire code restrictions.
BREAKFAST:
Breakfast at the Limestone Mansion is chef’s choice and varies daily. We aim to provide a high-quality, seasonal menu that reflects the creativity of our kitchen. While we make a reasonable effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ advance notice. Requests made within 48 hours of arrival may not be accommodated. Guests with severe or complex dietary needs are encouraged to contact us prior to booking to determine if we can meet their requirements.
PETS:
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Limestone Mansion. For your convenience, we can provide recommendations for local pet boarding services. Thank you for your understanding.
SMOKE FREE:
The Limestone Mansion is a completely smoke-free property indoors. Smoking and vaping of any kind (including e-cigarettes and similar devices) is strictly prohibited inside the buildings and on the front porch and back patio.
Guests who wish to smoke or vape may do so only in the yard, away from the building and porches, and must dispose of all smoking materials responsibly. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for any evidence of smoking or vaping inside the buildings or in prohibited outdoor areas.
ROOM KEY POLICY:
All room keys & key chains must be returned to the Key Drop Off Box or at the front desk. Failure to return them will result in an additional $75 lock replacement charge.
NOTICE TO GUESTS:
At the Limestone Mansion, we are committed to providing a serene and peaceful environment for all our guests. To ensure a restful experience, we have Quiet Hours indoors from 10pm – 8am daily. We request that you keep noise levels to a minimum during the designated quiet hours. Guests who do not respect the quiet hours policy or disrupt the experience for other guests, may be asked to leave without a refund.
There are no gatherings and parties of any nature allowed in the rooms.
PAYMENT DEPOSIT POLICY:
To secure the dates of your reservation, 50% of the total is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged at check-in.
Rates are subject to state sales tax plus local lodging tax and are subject to change without notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
As a boutique 10-room inn nestled in charming Cherry Valley, New York, the Limestone Mansion values each guest's experience and endeavors to provide an intimate and personalized stay. Given our limited room inventory, we request adherence to the following cancellation policies:
CANCELLATION OF 14 DAYS OR GREATER THAN CHECK-IN DATE:
• Full refund of any monies paid
CANCELLATION OF LESS THAN 14 DAYS OF CHECK-IN DATE:
• Forfeit of deposit money paid
WEDDING OR GROUP RESERVATIONS:
• Wedding or group reservations are subject to a 30-day notice of cancellation.
THIRD PARTY RESERVATIONS:
• Reservations made through third-party websites are bound by the cancellation policies agreed to during the booking on their respective platforms.
• Any cancellations for third-party bookings must be processed through the third-party website.
NO SHOWS & EARLY TERMINATION OF STAY:
• No shows will be charged in full. Guests who terminate their reserved stay early, will not be refunded for the unused days.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR CONTRACTED RESERVATIONS:
• If your reservation is part of a wedding block or another group block subject to a contract, the terms outlined in the contract supersede the general cancellation policy. Refer to the contract or contact your group host for specific details.
