GROUP STAYS AT LIMESTONE MANSION
We love welcoming families, friends, and organizations who wish to gather at the Limestone Mansion. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, attending a local event, traveling with colleagues, or planning a reunion, our historic home offers a comfortable, gracious setting where your group can relax, connect, and enjoy time together.
Because we are a small, independently run bed & breakfast, we handle group reservations a little differently than large hotels — but in a way that is personal, flexible, and easy for you.
Peak Weekend Note
Due to extremely high demand, we do not offer group room blocks for Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. Individual room reservations may still be available for that weekend and can be booked through our standard reservation process, based on availability.
Holding Rooms for Your Group
When you inquire about multiple rooms, we are happy to place a complimentary “soft hold” on your requested rooms for up to three days while you confirm details with your group.
After three days, any rooms not secured under our group process will be released for other guests.
Securing Your Room Block
To confirm a group room block, we ask for two simple things:
- A brief Group Booking Agreement (email confirmation is perfectly fine), and
- A credit card on file from the primary organizer as a group guarantor.
There is no charge at this time. The guarantor card is held only to secure the block and would be used only in accordance with our group cancellation policy (for example, if rooms are cancelled after the final room count date and cannot be resold).
Once this is in place, your rooms are secured and removed from public availability.
Individual Room Reservations
After the group block is secured, each guest books their own assigned room with us and provides their own payment details for their stay.
This allows everyone in your party to manage their own reservation while still staying together as a group.
Final Room Count
Your final number of rooms is due 45 days prior to arrival.
After this date, the group remains responsible for all rooms still held unless we are able to rebook them.
Payment Timing for Guests
For guests within the block:
- Payment for each room is due 14–30 days before arrival (unless other arrangements are made in advance).
How Group Payments Can Work
Every group is different, so we keep this flexible. Some groups prefer one person to handle payment for everyone; others prefer that each guest pays for their own room. We’re happy to work either way.
To hold your room block, we simply place the organizer’s credit card on file as a group guarantor while individual room reservations are created.
Group Cancellation Policy
- 60+ days prior to arrival: no charges to the guarantor card
- 30–60 days prior: charges may be applied for rooms cancelled and not resold
- Less than 30 days prior: cancelled rooms remain the responsibility of the group unless resold
